This has been an amazing year of excitement and growth for Ihiji. In 2015 we had so many great things going on which have helped us to better serve our awesome dealers and keep our strong growth. Here are some highlights on what’s happened in this very eventful year. 

CEDIA Awards winnerStarting off the year, Ihiji attracted $1.8 million in “series A” funding and added Onevision founder and Managing Director, Joseph Kolchinsky to its board of directors. It is very encouraging when we earn the confidence of investors who believe in the Ihiji platform of solutions for integrators.

As part of our growth strategy for Ihiji, we also made some key hires to our management staff. This included Steve Muccini, as the Director of Marketing, Paul Mudlaff as Director of Sales and AV industry veteran Evan Marty as our Customer Success Sherpa. We also built-out our engineering team as well with a number of new developer hires.

With our new hires, we quickly busted out of our “incubation office” at ATI in Austin. This led to our moving the Ihiji headquarters to downtown Austin and into a great new office. This is a great new space with plenty of room for growth. busy cedia booth ihiji

This year also brought the design and launch of a brand new website, The new Ihiji.com was designed to help professional integrators understand the benefits of remote network management services at a time when commercial and residential networks are becoming increasingly encumbered with IP-enabled devices.

On the recognition front, Ihiji CEO and Founder Stuart Rench placed on Dealerscope’s 40 Under 40 list. Ihiji Invision was also named the CEPro Brand Leader for the third year in a row for Remote Managed Services. The HTSA also honored Ihiji Invision with their Technology Innovation Award for remote network management.

The excitement didn’t wane over the summer either!  We started off July with CEDIA EMEA recognizing Ihiji Invision as “Best Innovative Product of 2015”. This is a great win for our international market and our distribution partner, Habitech out of the UK.

OneVision founderWe spent some time with one of our favorite technology support providers, OneVision out of Boston to produce this great customer success case study video on the right way to offer remote technology services.

Heading into October, Ihiji designed a great new tradeshow presence for our CEDIA expo booth helping us to connect with hundreds of Ihiji dealers and new friends. Check out the buzz and excitement from the expo including detail on the new product integrations with with Sony, Luxul, Core Brands and D-Tools.

Ihiji-ServiceManager_black_smallWe launched an entirely new SaaS solution called Ihiji ServiceManager, designed to provide integrators with the business operations tools necessary for setting up and running a successful remote support services business.

Soon after we launched, we picked up a number of key industry awards including Technology Integrator’s EXC!TE award as well as the CEDIA Best Product and the CEPro Best Product for CEDIA. The industry agrees. This is a great solution which promises to help integrators to run their services business efficiently and effectively.

Finishing up 2015, we have been deep in planning on a number of new things for 2016 including enhancements to both Ihiji Invision and Ihiji ServiceManager as well as a new pricing plan which is designed to help integrators gain the best return on investment possible across all of their clients. We’ve also been recording some podcasts on support services best practices and case studies which will hit in 2016. Lot’s more planned, so stay tuned and follow us.
