Last night Team Ihiji had a great time at the ATX Startup Crawl hosted by Capital Factory. We had a big crew of Ihiji development engineers, executives, marketing and sales members turn out for this staple Austin event. The Startup scene is integral to the Austin culture, a sense which is widely reflected at the crawl. As Austinites we are honored to be part of it.
As is typical with the startup crawl, we all talked with a constant flow of very smart people who were all interested in the Austin technology and startup scenes. While this was an amazing opportunity for networking and recruitment for us, we believe one of the biggest lessons Team Ihiji learned was a simple one. Whenever we bring a lot of our own folks to these events, we will end up drinking at least half of our beer. This year we were pouring a nice double IPA from Pinthouse, which proved to be quite popular among our own staff given the fact we ran out in about 45 minutes. Lesson learned, and it won’t happen next time 😉
Thanks again to the crew at Capital Factory for putting on such a great event. Can’t wait until the next one.
