Remote Monitoring and Support Provider Ihiji Announces New Features That Reduces Email Volume, Increases Productivity and Delivers Beneficial Device Support Benefitting Both Dealers and End-Users
The new features include a Daily Email Digest, Auto-Key and Ordering system, and support for several new manufacturers.
Austin, TX and Indianapolis, IN (CEDIA Expo booth #2602) – August 27, 2012 – ihiji announces today that several new features have been added to the company’s award-winning invision Remote Monitoring and Support system that will immediately benefit residential and commercial integrators via savings in both time and resources. The new features include a Daily Email Digest, Auto-Key and Ordering system, and support for several new manufacturers. Requiring no upgrade fees and made available automatically to all actively deployed ihiji invision systems, these new ihiji invision features serve to highlight the benefits of an industry specific cloud-based solution.
The new Daily Email Digest feature reduces the number of ihiji invision email alerts that hit an integrator’s inbox by summarizing them into one easily read and interpreted daily report. This eliminates the typical scenario where a series of updates hit a user’s inbox throughout the day. While real-time status reports are often necessary, integrators can easily be overwhelmed by the volume when there are multiple or complex on-site issues.
Therefore, Email Digest provides the integrator the option to receive one automated daily status report which allows them to review and resolve any issues that exist while leaving their inbox relatively unscathed.
Additional manufacturer support has also been added for Pakedge Access Points, DirecTV receivers, Control4 HC-800 and HC-250 controllers, eSommolier wine inventory systems, Middle Atlantic RackLink, Digital Loggers Power, Minute Man Power and eSensors temperature, humidity and voltage monitoring devices. Each of these provides an integrator more detail of device performance; but more importantly, it improves their ability to manage the core of the system. This includes critical components such as the network, power management, and control system processors.
Each of the new ihiji invision features was developed as part of the company’s continuing commitment to improve cloud-based network monitoring and support functionality for residential and commercial integrators. “Although we continue to stress how important it is for dealers to focus on the core of the system, we have added new support for Pakedge, Control4 processors and additional power-related device manufacturers because we’re also seeing the slow but continued increase of intelligent network devices such as the eSensors product,” says ihiji Vice President of Technical Operations, Michael Maniscalco.
David Rench, ihiji Vice President of Sales, added more, “we’ve taken our dealer’s feedback and have addressed their top concerns. Key management, daily email digest, and increased support for core system devices were all a direct result of dealer requests and so far, there’s been nothing but praise for the quick implementation.”
